Seriously, after a week with a menu plan and then a week without, I daresay a menu plan is the anchor to my week. I think we really suffered last week without a plan, and I felt so adrift. So, with that in mind, as the the boys watch Steve Irwin’s “Collision Course” I’m off to inventory the pantry and fridge and do up a plan for the week. Stay tuned…

LOL! Because I shop weekly a plan is an absolute necessity. Maybe I should start blogging mine and you can come and get inspired. I read another blog where she does her menu for the week and I often get a few ideas from there.
I have a girlfriend who has set nights for everything. Like taco night, curry night, spaghetti night. That can be a good way to go too. That way the hubby and kids also know what’s happening. You don’t have to do it forever, but if it gets you through the early kid years then why not!
Tonight we are having noodles with pork/hoi sin sauce. I use minced pork and teeny tiny vegies like carrot, celery, red and yellow capsicim, spring onion and wombok. I buy those think egg noodles (wokka). Everyone wants seconds of this particular meal :).
